LF2 top team - Aulnoye (12-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat eighth ranked Dunkerque (5-8) 65-48. Swingman Caroline Misset (174-93) nailed 12 points and 5 assists for the winning side and center Cora Duval (185-87) accounted for 9 points and 10 rebounds. Aulnoye's coach Abdel Bellouni allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward Dace Pierre-Joseph (187-81) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and swingman Carine Paul (176-88, agency: Comsport) added 9 points respectively for Dunkerque in the defeat. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Aulnoye. They maintain first place with 12-1 record. Dunkerque at the other side dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Limoges and Avenir. Aulnoye will play against SIG (#4) in llkirch-Graff. in the next round. Dunkerque will play on the road against the league's second-placed Tarbes and hopes to get back on the winning track.
