There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Castellbisbal (4-7) beat at home 8th ranked Andorra II (4-7) 73-65 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 20-8 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Castellbisbal outrebounded Andorra II 43-32 including 30 on the defensive glass. Andorra II was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was guard Roger Guardia (193-85, college: CS Fullerton) who scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Marc Manes (196-86) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. Center Cinto Gabriel (199-87) produced 17 points and 7 rebounds and Montenegrin center Filip Knezevic (205-94) added 14 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Castellbisbal moved-up to eighth place in Group C-B, which they share with Pardinyes-L. and Andorra II.
