Regular Season Round 11: Gimbasket WRC - Rawia 32-68

Everything went according to plan in Wroclaw where fourth ranked Rawia (8-3) outleveled 11th ranked Gimbasket WRC (1-10) 68-32 on Saturday. Rawia held Gimbasket WRC to an opponent 24.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 44.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Rawia forced 34 Gimbasket WRC turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Pawel Stankiewicz (195-82) who scored 16 points and 4 assists. Power forward Jakub Dryjanski (202-82) chipped in 13 points. Rawia's coach Marek Lebiedzinski felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Rafal Malitka (205-91) produced 4 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Lukasz Laszczuk (176-98) added 11 points and 7 steals respectively for the hosts. The victory was the third consecutive win for Rawia. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Gimbasket PRZM and Miedzychod. Gimbasket WRC lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with ten games lost. Rawia will face Olesnica (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Gimbasket WRC will play against Nowa Sol and hope to win that game.
