Regular Season Round 11: Polonia Bytom - Wisla Krakow 84-60

Very predictable result when first ranked Polonia Bytom (10-1) outscored at home 11th ranked Wisla Krakow (2-9) 84-60 on Saturday. Polonia Bytom looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Wisla Krakow's players. The best player for the winners was Emil Podkowinski (194-88) who scored 23 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Grzegorz Zadecki (195-83) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds. Four Polonia Bytom players scored in double figures. Guard Rafal Zglobicki (196-94) produced 23 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Kamil Kamecki (200-87) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Polonia Bytom maintains first place with 10-1 record, which they share with AZS AGH Alstom and Kotwica. Wisla Krakow lost their sixth game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with nine games lost. Polonia Bytom will face Alba Chorzow (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Wisla Krakow will play against MCKiS Jaworz. (#4) in Jaworzno and hope to win that game.
