There was no surprise when 13th ranked Entente Orleans 45 (5-7) was outleveled at home by third ranked Monaco (9-3) 93-71. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American Jamal Shuler (191-86) who scored 19 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Ukrainian swingman Sergii Gladyr (196-88, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Monaco players scored in double figures. Coach Zvezdan Mitrovic's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Marcellus Sommerville (200-82, college: Bradley, agency: DTMones) who recorded 23 points and his fellow American import point guard Darnell Harris (181-86, college: La Salle) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively. Monaco have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Monaco maintains third position with 9-3 record behind leader ASVEL. Entente Orleans 45 lost fourth consecutive game.
