Regular Season Round 11: AZS PP - Olesnica 85-87

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Poznan where 9th ranked AZS PP (4-7) was edged by tenth ranked Olesnica (4-7) 87-85 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was swingman Grzegorz Kaczmarek (193-83) who scored 24 points and 9 rebounds. Kacper Kuta (191-94) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Four Olesnica players scored in double figures. Michal Wielechowski (198-94) produced 24 points and center Szymon Budnikowski (200-84) added 17 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Olesnica moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated AZS PP. Olesnica will face higher ranked Rawia (#4) in Rawicz in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
