Regular Season Round 11: Polonia W-wa - KK Warszawa 54-70

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked KK Warszawa (6-5) defeated on the road 12th ranked Polonia W-wa (2-9) 70-54 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was swingman Tomasz Jaremkiewicz (192-82) who scored 24 points. Point guard Rafal Holnicki-Szulc (188-89) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Daniel Olszewski (200-94) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and forward Artur Skowronski (196-99) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KK Warszawa moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Alba Chorzow and Ostrow Mazow. Loser Polonia W-wa dropped to the tenth position with nine games lost. KK Warszawa will face league's leader Ksiezak Lowicz on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Polonia W-wa's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Warszawa Shmoolky W-wa.
