Everything went according to plan when twelfth ranked Limoges CSP Elite (6-6) outplayed at home 14th ranked SPO Rouen (3-9) 88-67. The game without a history. Limoges CSP Elite led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Limoges CSP Elite outrebounded SPO Rouen 43-17 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Burkinabe-Ivorian center Louri Frejus Zerbo (209-89) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. International center Ousmane Camara (202-89) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Four Limoges CSP Elite players scored in double figures. Coach Philippe Herve's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Congolese Jean-Michel Mipoka (198-85, agency: Comsport) who recorded 17 points and the former international point guard Abdoulaye M'Baye (189-88) added 14 points respectively. Defending champion moved-up to tenth place. SPO Rouen at the other side dropped to the sixteenth position with nine games lost. Limoges CSP Elite's next round opponent will be Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#11) on the road. SPO Rouen will play against STB Le Havre (#18) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
