Regular Season Round 19: Denso Iris - Toyota A. 67-58

The game between third ranked Toyota A. (13-4) and fifth ranked Denso Iris (12-5) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Toyota A. was defeated by Denso Iris in a tough game in Kariya 58-67. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Toyota A.. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 24-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Toyota A.'s coach Don Beck rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Denso Iris maintains fifth place with 12-5 record. Toyota A. at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. Denso Iris are again looking forward to face higher ranked Toyota A. (#4) in Nagoya in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Toyota A. will have a break next round.
