An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Jiyuan. First ranked Bayi Kylin faced 4th placed Henan. Guests from Yinzhou (12-8) defeated host Henan (6-12) 77-68. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-68. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Lu Wen (188-90) who scored 19 points and 5 assists. International center Mengran Sun (197-92) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Four Bayi Kylin players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Yang Wang (182-90) who recorded 26 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks and American forward Tianna Hawkins (191-91, college: Maryland) added 9 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Bayi Kylin maintains first place in Play Out with 12-8 record, which they share with Jiangsu. Loser Henan keeps the fourth position with 12 games lost. Bayi Kylin will face Liaoning Hengye (#3) in Anshan in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Henan will play on the road against the league's leader Jiangsu Phoenix in Yixing and hope to win that game.
