There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Sant Lluis (0-9) was crushed at home by second ranked Quart (10-2) 89-48 on Sunday. The game without a history. Quart led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 19 Sant Lluis turnovers and outrebounded them 44-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was center Raphael Dos Santos (201-91) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Albert Masllorens (199-90) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Quart players scored in double figures. Quart's coach Marc Delemus felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Alberto Artiles (190-97) produced 15 points and 5 rebounds and Montenegrin forward Balsa Mirotic (197-97) added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Quart keeps a position of Group C-A leader. Sant Lluis lost their eighth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with nine games lost. Quart will face Barbera (#8) in Barcelona in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sant Lluis will play against the league's second-placed Mollet and hopes to get finally their first victory.
