The game in was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Fubon Braves (3-3) played at the court of fifth ranked Dacin Tigers (2-5). Dacin Tigers managed to secure a 8-point victory 88-80 on Sunday. Dacin Tigers trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 51-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American-New Zealand center Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. The former international point guard Kuan-Lun Lin (187-84) chipped in 26 points. Four Dacin Tigers players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Earl Barron (211-81, college: Memphis) who recorded a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds and guard Wei-Che Lin (182-92) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Fubon Braves' coach Hang-Shu Yan tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Dacin Tigers maintains fifth position with 2-5 record, which they share with KKL. Newly promoted Fubon Braves keep the fourth place with three games lost. Dacin Tigers will meet league's second-placed Pure Youth in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Fubon Braves will play against Yulon Luxgen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
