Very predictable result in Madrid where eleventh ranked Andorra (5-5) defeated 17th ranked Asefa Estudiantes (1-9) 82-75 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Asefa Estudiantes won fourth quarter 26-25. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Andorra made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Georgian center Giorgi Shermadini (216-89) had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Victor Sada (192-84) chipped in 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Andorra players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international forward Nacho Martin (203-83) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Dario Brizuela (196-94) scored 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Andorra moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Asefa Estudiantes lost sixth consecutive game.
