Regular Season Round 12: Roseto - Ferrara 101-84

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Roseto (8-4) defeated at home 10th ranked Bondi Ferrara (5-7) 101-84 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Roseto. Bondi Ferrara was better in second period 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Roseto dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Bondi Ferrara's 40. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Bryon Allen (190-92, college: George Mason) who scored 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. The other American import guard Kyle Weaver (198-86, college: Washington St.) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Roseto players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Swedish-American Erik Rush (197-88, college: Montana St.) who recorded 21 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and point guard Jordan Losi (182-80) added 16 points and 6 assists respectively. Despite that victory Roseto went down to sixth position (A2) due to points difference. Loser Bondi Ferrara dropped to the twelfth place with seven games lost. Roseto will face Ravenna (#8) on the road in the next round. Bondi Ferrara will play against Matera (#16) and hope to win that game.
