Helsinki Seagulls (#5) was upset in Helsinki by eighth ranked Salon Vilpas 77-68. Helsinki Seagulls was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 44-34 second half run of Salon Vilpas. Five Salon Vilpas and four Helsinki Seagulls players scored in double figures. Helsinki Seagulls' coach Mikko Larkas rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Salon Vilpas (6-10) moved-up to seventh place. Helsinki Seagulls at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Salon Vilpas will play against league's leader Loimaan Korikonkarit at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Helsinki Seagulls will have a break next round.
