There was no surprise when 9th ranked Desio (5-7) lost at home to third ranked Crema (10-2) 76-72 on Sunday. It was a great shooting night for Crema especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Desio was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for point guard Davide Liberati (190-91) who led his team to a victory with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Pietro Del Sorbo (187-85) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Crema players scored in double figures. Center Filippo Politi (205-80) replied with 20 points and 7 rebounds and guard Daniele Quartieri (195-87, agency: SPORTlab Agency) added 22 points in the effort for Desio. Crema have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position in B with 10-2 record behind leader Roma E-basket. Loser Desio dropped to the eighth place with seven games lost.
