An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Solna. First ranked Solna Branten faced one of their biggest challengers LF Future. Host Solna Branten (9-2) smashed guests from Lulea (9-2) 96-64. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. Solna Branten led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to LF Future's 30. They outrebounded LF Future 53-30 including a 40-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. American center Nick Smith (201-92, college: Dominican, NY) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Kenyan forward Tylor Ongwae (199-91, college: La-Monroe) chipped in 18 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Five Solna Branten players scored in double figures. Point guard Caleb Musie (173-95) responded with 11 points and guard Joel Svensson (185-94) scored 9 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Solna Branten have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-2 record, which they share with defeated LF Future.
