Date: December 13, 2015
Undefeated leader Ullern delivered the seventh consecutive victory. This time they crushed 7th ranked Ytrebygda (1-9) 63-42. The game was mostly controlled by Ullern. Ytrebygda was better in third quarter 15-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Ytrebygda to just 3 points in first quarter and to 10 points in first half. Ullern dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Ytrebygda's 20. Ullern forced 29 Ytrebygda turnovers. The former international power forward Tori Halvorsen (183-88, college: American) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points. The former international guard Tina Moen (180-86, college: IPFW) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Ullern's coach Marco Sanders felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Solveig Mildestvedt (165-98) answered with 17 points and 8 rebounds and guard Karoline Falch-Monsen (169-98) added 6 points in the effort for Ytrebygda. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Ullern. Defending champion maintains first place with 7-0 record. Newly promoted Ytrebygda stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Ullern will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ytrebygda will play at home against Hoybraten (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
