The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Panteras' (4-13) road loss to ninth ranked Gigantes (6-11) 84-92. Gigantes outrebounded Panteras 44-27 including a 34-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American swingman Tim Pickett (192-81, college: Florida St., agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import forward Howard Crawford (205-88, college: UAB) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American-Panamanian Levour Warren (196-81, college: S.Carolina) answered with 19 points and American guard Dijon Farr (201-91, college: Ark.-Fort Smith) added 10 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Panteras. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Gigantes moved-up to eighth place. Panteras at the other side keep the tenth position with 13 games lost. Gigantes will again play against Panteras (#10) in Aguascalientes in the next round. Panteras will have a break next round.
