Regular Season Round 13: Ourense - Penas Huesca 69-75

There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Ourense (6-7) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Lobe Huesca (6-7) 75-69 on Wednesday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Ourense won fourth quarter 24-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lobe Huesca forced 21 Ourense turnovers. Point guard Lluis Costa (187-93) stepped up and scored 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and Serbian center Goran Huskic (210-92, college: Howard Col., TX) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Lobe Huesca players scored in double figures. At the losing side American-Nigerian power forward Danny Agbelese (206-90, college: Hampton) responded with 11 points and 8 rebounds and Canadian-Bosnian guard Diego Kapelan (190-87, college: McNeese St.) scored 14 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Lobe Huesca moved-up to ninth place, which they share with defeated Ourense. Lobe Huesca will face bottom-ranked CB Prat (#16) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
