An interesting game took place in Caceres where higher ranked Leche Rio Breogan (7-6) was upset on the court of fourteenth ranked Caceres Basket (5-8) 73-58 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Leche Rio Breogan. The game without a history. Caceres Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Caceres Basket outrebounded Leche Rio Breogan 39-27 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Leche Rio Breogan's coach let to play ten players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Caceres Basket moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Coruna and Planasa NV. Loser Leche Rio Breogan keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Caceres Basket will face higher ranked Palma (#3) in S'Arenal in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
