Regular Season Round 6: Kara Trutnov - Samorin 85-58

The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Czech Kara Trutnov's (2-1) home victory over 8th ranked Slovakian Samorin (1-3) 85-58. The game was mostly controlled by Kara Trutnov. Samorin was better in second period 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kara Trutnov dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Samorin's 30. Kara Trutnov forced 21 Samorin turnovers and outrebounded them 40-27 including 17 on the offensive glass. Center Lenka Pazderova (188-84) scored 21 points to lead the charge for the winners and Senegalese power forward Aminata Fall (193, college: S.Nazarene, agency: Two Points) chipped in 13 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Kara Trutnov players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Angelika Slamova (173-94) with 16 points and forward Zuzana Mracnova (180-80) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Kara Trutnov maintains seventh position in Group B with 2-1 record. Samorin at the other side keeps the eighth place with three games lost. Kara Trutnov will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Samorin will play at home against ICIM Arad (#5) to get more than just one victory in their record.
