The game between third ranked Chemidor (9-3) and 9th ranked Ayandeh Sazan (2-10) in Tehran on Thursday ended with biggest points difference. Chemidor outscored guests from Tehran 86-61. The game without a history. Chemidor led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Chemidor forced 19 Ayandeh Sazan turnovers and outrebounded them 42-29 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for international Oshin Sahakian (200-86) who led his team to a victory with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Riyaei contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Chemidor players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Iman Zandi (188-81) replied with 19 points and power forward Amir Abbas Mohabbat (200-83) added 17 points and 5 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) in the effort for Ayandeh Sazan. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chemidor keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Petrochimi and Naft Abadan. Ayandeh Sazan at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eighth place with ten games lost. Chemidor's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tehran to the arena Army.
