Regular Season Round 12: Rawia - Olesnica 72-69

Eighth-ranked Olesnica (4-8) was very close to win a game against fourth ranked Rawia (9-3) in Rawicz. Rawia managed to secure only three-point victory 72-69. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Olesnica. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Pawel Stankiewicz (195-82) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Adrian Lipowczyk (180-85) who added 7 points and 7 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Wojciech Suprun (203-82) with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Grzegorz Kaczmarek (193-83) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Four Olesnica players scored in double figures. Olesnica's coach Piotr Gliniak rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rawia have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in Group D. Newly promoted Olesnica dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Otmuchow. Rawia will play against Nowa Sol (#4) on the road in the next round. Olesnica will play against Sudety (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
