We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 9th ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (4-8) lost to tenth ranked Rosa III Radom (4-8) in Bielsk Podlaski 71-88 on Saturday. Rosa III Radom dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Tur Bielsk Pdl.'s 40. Rosa III Radom forced 23 Tur Bielsk Pdl. turnovers. Strangely Tur Bielsk Pdl. outrebounded Rosa III Radom 48-32 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for Mikolaj Stopierzynski (190-94) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Mateusz Gos (186-94) contributed with 16 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Rosa III Radom players scored in double figures. Arkadiusz Zabielski (197-84) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 23 rebounds and forward Lukasz Kuczynski (194-85) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Tur Bielsk Pdl.Rosa III Radom moved-up to ninth place in Group B, which they share with defeated Tur Bielsk Pdl. Rosa III Radom will face league's second-placed AZS UMCS in Lublin in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
