Regular Season Round 10: Dunkerque - Charnay 79-56

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Dunkerque and 10th ranked Charnay had identical 2-6 record. This time Dunkerque used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Charnay-les-Macon 79-56. The game was mostly controlled by Dunkerque. Charnay was better in fourth quarter 15-6. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dunkerque players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian guard Korissa Williams (175-92) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists. Power forward Dace Pierre-Joseph (187-81) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Dunkerque players scored in double figures. Forward Laure Belleville (175-87) replied with 16 points and guard Julie Legoupil (173-84) added 14 points and 5 assists in the effort for Charnay. Dunkerque (3-6) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Montbrison. Charnay lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. Dunkerque's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked CFBB (#12) in Paris. Charnay will play at home against Montbrison and hope to win that game.
