Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Tbilisi: Dinamo Tbilisi (#4) and MIA (#8). Dinamo Tbilisi (7-4) crushed visiting MIA (1-9) by 30 points 85-55. The game without a history. Dinamo Tbilisi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to MIA's 18 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded MIA 37-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international Mikheil Berishvili (204-87) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. Center Ilia Londaridze (205-89) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Canadian guard Emerson Murray (190-92, college: Seattle) produced 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Koka Tomaradze (197-90) added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dinamo Tbilisi have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Sokhumi. MIA lost third consecutive game. Defending champion stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Dinamo Tbilisi's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi Sokhumi.
