Regular Season Round 20: Shandong FB - Shanghai S. 112-96

No shocking result in a game in Jinan where sixth ranked Shandong Bulls (14-7) won against 10th ranked Shanghai Sharks (10-10) 112-96. The game without a history. Shandong Bulls led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Shanghai Sharks' 44. Shandong Bulls players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The winners were led by American forward Michael Beasley (208-89, college: Kansas St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 9 assists and American-Ukrainian point guard Eugene Jeter (180-83, college: Portland) supported him with 23 points and 6 assists. Five Shandong Bulls players scored in double figures. Even 34 points (!!!) and 5 assists by American point guard A.J. Price (188-86, college: Connecticut) did not help to save the game for Shanghai Sharks. The former international center ZhaoXu Zhang (221-87, college: California) added 7 points and 11 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shandong Bulls have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 14-7 record. Shanghai Sharks at the other side keep the tenth place with ten games lost. Shandong Bulls will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Shanghai Sharks will play on the road against Qingdao Eagles (#13) and hope to get back on the winning track.
