Regular Season Round 12: KK Warszawa - Ksiezak Lowicz 55-74

There was no surprise when 6th ranked KK Warszawa (6-6) was outleveled at home by first ranked Ksiezak Lowicz (11-1) 74-55 on Sunday. Ksiezak Lowicz made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Arkadiusz Kobus (196-86, agency: Promotex) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Mariusz Wojcik (200-79) contributed with 20 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all five shots) for the winners. Four Ksiezak Lowicz players scored in double figures. Point guard Pawel Hybiak (173-89) replied with 12 points and point guard Rafal Holnicki-Szulc (188-89) added 11 points in the effort for KK Warszawa. Ksiezak Lowicz have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group B with 11-1 record. Newly promoted KK Warszawa keeps the sixth place with six games lost. Ksiezak Lowicz will face Polonia W-wa (#12) in Warszawa in the next round which should be an easy win for them. KK Warszawa will play at home against Ostrow Mazow. (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
