Regular Season Round 15: Krosno - Pogon Prudnik 79-58

1Liga top team - Krosno (14-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Pogon Prudnik (9-6) 79-58. Krosno forced 22 Pogon Prudnik turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a great evening for Dariusz Oczkowicz (182-81) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 5 assists. Point guard Michal Baran (187-80) helped adding 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Krosno players scored in double figures. Krosno's coach Michal Baran felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was point guard Krzysztof Chmielarz (180-88) with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and swingman Kacper Stalicki (195-92) scored 15 points. Krosno have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-1 record. Pogon Prudnik at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Krosno will play against Astoria Bydg. (#9) in Bydgoszcz in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pogon Prudnik will play at home against Znicz Basket and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
