The game in Zaragoza was also quite interesting. Third ranked Conquero (10-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Mann Filter (8-5). Conquero managed to secure a 9-point victory 80-71 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Mann Filter. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 22-17. But Mann Filter won second period 28-25. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Conquero made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Conquero outrebounded Mann Filter 47-25 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Nigerian-American forward Adaora Elonu (185-90, college: Texas A&M, agency: Josep and Nicolas) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and American center Talia Caldwell (188-91, college: California) chipped in 13 points and 18 rebounds. Five Conquero players scored in double figures. At the losing side Italian-Paraguayan swingman Paola Ferrari (178-85, agency: Josep and Nicolas) responded with 24 points and American swingman Sheana Mosch (177-81, college: Duke) scored 15 points. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Conquero. They moved-up to second place. Mann Filter at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost. Conquero will meet league's leader Perfumerias Avenida in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Mann Filter will play against Gernika (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
