Regular Season Round 22: Chanson V-M - Fujitsu RW 69-66

The most exciting game of round 22 in the WJBL took place in Shizuoka. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of their biggest opponent Fujitsu RW (15-5) to third ranked Chanson V-M (16-4) 69-66 in the game for the second place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Fujitsu RW. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Chanson V-M dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Fujitsu RW's 48 and made 27-of-32 free shots (84.4 percent) during the game. Four Fujitsu RW players scored in double figures. Chanson V-M moved-up to second place. Fujitsu RW at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. They share it with Denso Iris.
