Important game to mention about took place in Nancy. Seventeenth ranked Cholet Basket (4-9) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 14th ranked Sluc Nancy (4-9) 67-65 in the fight for the fourteenth place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sluc Nancy. Point guard Benjamin Sene (186-94, agency: Comsport) produced 18 points and the former international swingman Mickael Pietrus (198-82, agency: Three Eye Sports) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Cholet Basket moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Nancy. Cholet Basket will face higher ranked JSF Nanterre (#8) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
