Not a big story in a game when 16th ranked Venafro (1-13) was outplayed at home by second ranked Napoli Basket (12-2) 86-49 on Wednesday. Napoli Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Venafro's 34. Napoli Basket forced 20 Venafro turnovers and outrebounded them 40-21 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Davide Serino (199-81) who scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Simone Berti (196-85) chipped in 12 points and 6 assists. Five Napoli Basket players scored in double figures. Swingman Massimilano Fossati (195-93) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and forward Andrea Chiari (195-79) added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
