Regular Season Round 21: Fujian QB - Foshan LL 111-100

There was no surprise in Jinjiang where 19th ranked Foshan (3-18) was defeated by fifteenth ranked Fujian (8-13) 111-100 on Wednesday. Foshan was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 37-24 charge of Fujian, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Lebanese swingman Fadi Khatib (199-79) who scored 34 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. American point guard Dwight Buycks (191-89, college: Marquette) chipped in 22 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Fujian players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Jabari Brown (193-92, college: Missouri, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded 31 points and 5 rebounds and the former international center ZhengDong Tang (213-84) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Fujian moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Foshan lost eighth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with 18 games lost. Fujian will face TianJin Steel (#19) in Tianjin in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Foshan will play at home against Shandong Bulls and hope to win that game.
