No shocking result in a game in Kutno where seventh ranked AZS Polfarmex (8-5) won against 15th ranked MKS Start (3-10) 67-58 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 20-8 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Adonte Parker (186-89, college: Dayton) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import power forward Kevin Johnson (201-84, college: Humboldt St.) who added 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Jan Grzelinski (180-94, college: Canisius) with 11 points and 4 assists and swingman Grzegorz Malecki (195-84) scored 11 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. AZS Polfarmex maintains seventh position with 8-5 record. MKS Start at the other side dropped to the fourteenth place with ten games lost. AZS Polfarmex will face higher ranked Anwil (#4) in Wloclawek in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. MKS Start will play on the road against the league's second-placed Twarde Pierniki (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
