Not a big story in a game when 20th ranked Foshan (3-19) lost at home to fifth ranked Shandong Bulls (15-7) 124-114 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Shandong Bulls. Foshan was better in fourth quarter 26-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Quite impressive performance for American forward Michael Beasley (208-89, college: Kansas St.) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 41 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 11 assists. American-Ukrainian point guard Eugene Jeter (180-83, college: Portland) contributed with 30 points and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Jerrelle Benimon (203-91, college: Towson) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Jabari Brown (193-92, college: Missouri, agency: Octagon Europe) added 27 points and 4 assists in the effort for Foshan. Four Shandong Bulls and five Foshan players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Shandong Bulls have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Foshan lost ninth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 19 lost games. Shandong Bulls will face TianJin Steel (#19) in Tianjin in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Foshan will play at home against Liaoning Hunters and hope to win that game.
