Regular Season Round 22: DongGuan L. - Sichuan BW 100-109

Everything went according to plan when third ranked Sichuan BW (17-5) defeated on the road 9th ranked DongGuan Leopards (12-10) 109-100 on Friday. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 28-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Sichuan BW looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Quite impressive performance for the former international swingman Da Meng (196-82) who helped to win the game recording 48 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. American Mike Harris (198-83, college: Rice) contributed with 32 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Bobby Brown (188-84, college: CS Fullerton) replied with 34 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import Dominic McGuire (206-85, college: Fresno St., agency: Priority Sports) added 12 points and 17 rebounds in the effort for DongGuan Leopards. Four DongGuan Leopards players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Sichuan BW have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 17-5 record having just two points less than leader Xinjiang FT. Loser DongGuan Leopards keep the ninth place with ten games lost. Sichuan BW will face league's second-placed Zhejiang Guangsha Lions in Hangzhou in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. DongGuan Leopards will play on the road against Jiangsu TX (#14) and hope to win that game.
