No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Scafati Cesarano (9-5) defeated on the road 10th ranked Viterbo SA (7-7) 75-71 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was naturalized Croatian forward Marko Mlinar (200-83) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Point guard Vincenzo Di Capua (186-87) chipped in 17 points (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). Five Scafati Cesarano players scored in double figures. Guard Fabio Marcante (196-80) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and guard Michele Peroni (188-94, agency: SPORTlab Agency) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. Scafati Cesarano moved-up to fifth place in B. Loser Viterbo SA dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. Scafati Cesarano will face Roma Luiss (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Viterbo SA will play against the league's second-placed Napoli Basket (#2) and hope to win that game.
