Very expected game when 12th ranked Mola (4-9) was rolled over on the road by sixth ranked Senigallia (9-5) 100-72 on Sunday. Senigallia dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Mola's 46. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Mola's players. Mola was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was forward Matteo Marinelli (201-84) who scored 26 points (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field). Michele Caverni (180-96) chipped in 19 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Four Senigallia players scored in double figures. Nicola Bastone (195-92) produced a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and forward Emanuele Musci (200-92) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Senigallia maintains sixth position in B with 9-5 record. Loser Mola keeps the twelfth place with nine games lost. Senigallia will face Giulianova (#8) on the road in the next round.
