Regular Season Round 24: DongGuan L. - Liaoning H. 82-96

Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked DongGuan Leopards (12-12) were defeated at home by sixth ranked Liaoning Hunters (17-7) 96-82. DongGuan Leopards were ahead by 4 points after three quarters before a 41-23 charge of Liaoning Hunters, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 21 DongGuan Leopards turnovers and outrebounded them 50-37 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Priority Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Ailun Guo (192-93) contributed with 18 points, 6 assists and 6 steals for the winners. American Dominic McGuire (206-85, college: Fresno St., agency: Priority Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import point guard Bobby Brown (188-84, college: CS Fullerton) added 18 points in the effort for DongGuan Leopards. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Liaoning Hunters have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Beijing Ducks and Shandong FB. DongGuan Leopards lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 12 games lost. Liaoning Hunters will play against Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (#8) in Hangzhou in the next round. DongGuan Leopards will play at home against Beijing Ducks and hope to get back on the winning track.
