The game with biggest result difference took place in Ashdod. Local Maccabi Ashdod (7-4) outscored 8th ranked Elitzur Holon (1-10) 81-53 on Thursday night. Maccabi Ashdod dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Elitzur Holon's 24. Maccabi Ashdod forced 22 Elitzur Holon turnovers. Defending champion maintains fourth place with 7-4 record. Elitzur Holon lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Maccabi Ashdod will meet Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (#6) on the road in the next round. Elitzur Holon will play against Hap.Petah Tikva and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
