An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Dublin. Second ranked UCC Demons faced 3rd placed Killester. Guests from Cork (9-2) defeated host Killester (7-4) 87-72. It was a great shooting night for UCC Demons especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. 27 personal fouls committed by Killester helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American forward Lehmon Colbert (198-88, college: Jacksonville) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. The former international guard Adrian O'Sullivan (180-93) chipped in 22 points and 4 assists. Naturalized American forward Jermaine Turner (195-74, college: Dowling) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 21 rebounds and international guard Paul Dick (193-91, college: Franklin Pierce, agency: Duran International) added 23 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains second place with 9-2 record behind leader Templeogue. Killester at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. UCC Demons are looking forward to face UCD Marian (#5) in Dublin in the next round. Killester will play on the road against DCU Saints in Dublin and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
