Very predictable result when fifth ranked AZS PCz (8-5) defeated on the road 11th ranked Wisla Krakow (2-11) 78-69 on Saturday. AZS PCz forced 19 Wisla Krakow turnovers. Wisla Krakow was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Szymon Rynkiewicz (198-91) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and forward Nikodem Kowalski (200-95) chipped in 11 points and 14 rebounds. At the losing side power forward Kamil Kamecki (200-87) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 21 rebounds and guard Rafal Zglobicki (196-94) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Four Wisla Krakow players scored in double figures. Wisla Krakow's coach Lukasz Kasperzec rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. AZS PCz maintains fifth place in Group C with 8-5 record. Wisla Krakow lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 11 games lost. AZS PCz will face Alba Chorzow (#6) at home in the next round. Wisla Krakow will play against AZS AWF M. II (#10) in Katowice and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
