Regular Season Round 15: Mola - Pescara 68-74

Very expected game when 14th ranked Mola (4-11) lost at home to eighth ranked Pescara (8-7) 74-68 on Sunday. Pescara made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. It was a good game for guard Simone Pepe (185-93, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who led his team to a victory with 31 points and 6 rebounds (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!). Guard Stefano Rajola (187-72) contributed with 9 points for the winners. Nicola Bastone (195-92) answered with 19 points and 5 rebounds and forward Emanuele Musci (200-92) added 18 points in the effort for Mola. Four Mola players scored in double figures. Pescara moved-up to seventh place in B, which they share with Vicenza and Desio. Loser Mola dropped to the thirteenth position with 11 games lost. Pescara will face league's second-placed San Severo on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mola will play against Campli (#3) and hope to win that game.
