Rather expected game when 14th ranked Trefl (3-12) lost on the road to eleventh ranked Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (7-7) 70-64. Trefl was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 40-33 second half run of Stal Ostrow Wlkp.. 26 personal fouls committed by Trefl helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American guard Curtis Millage (188-81, college: Arizona St.) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Tomasz Ochonko (183-86) chipped in 13 points. Sudanese center Ater Majok (208-87, college: Connecticut) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks and American point guard Tyreek Duren (183-91, college: La Salle) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Stal Ostrow Wlkp.'s next round opponent will be higher ranked AZS Polfarmex (#7) in Kutno and it may be quite challenging game. Trefl will play at home against PGE Turow (#12) and hope to win that game.
