Shandong Bulls (#4) were upset in Hangzhou by eighth ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank 130-118. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Shandong Bulls. The game was mostly controlled by Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank. Shandong Bulls was better in fourth quarter 28-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 58.6 percentage. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Shandong Bulls' players. Shandong Bulls were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Willie Warren (193-89, college: Oklahoma) notched 51 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort and Iranian forward Mohammad Samad Nikkhah Bahrami (199-83) supported him with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 53 points (!!!), 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals by American forward Michael Beasley (208-89, college: Kansas St.) did not help to save the game for Shandong Bulls. The former international center HanLin Tao (208-91) added 23 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the guests. Five Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank and four Shandong Bulls players scored in double figures. Shandong Bulls' coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank maintains eighth position with 15-11 record. Shandong Bulls at the other side dropped to the fifth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Guangdong ST. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Hangzhou Zhejiang Guangsha Lions.
