Very predictable result when third ranked Campli (12-3) rolled over at home 12th ranked Martina Franca (4-11) 85-56 on Sunday. Campli made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Campli outrebounded Martina Franca 40-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for the former international center Christian DiGiuliomaria (210-79) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Guard Onorio Petrazzuoli (193-88) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Campli players scored in double figures. Campli's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Stefano Cunico (190-93) answered with 12 points and 5 assists and power forward Giacomo Dell'Agnello (201-94) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Martina Franca. Loser Martina Franca keeps the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Campli will face Mola (#14) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Martina Franca will play against Senigallia and hope to win that game.
