Regular Season Round 16: Cocinas.com - Prat 59-71

Bottom-ranked CB Prat managed to get the second consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time they won against fourteenth-ranked Cocinas.com in Logrono 71-59. The game was mostly controlled by CB Prat. Cocinas.com managed to win fourth quarter 19-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Xavier Forcada (194-88) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 assists and power forward Gerbert Marti (203-91) who added 16 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Borja Arevalo (195-91) responded with 11 points and 4 assists and American center Babatunde Olumuyiwa (203-92, college: USC Upstate) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. CB Prat (4-12) moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Forca Lleida and Cocinas.com. Cocinas.com lost fourth consecutive game. CB Prat is looking forward to face higher ranked Oviedo CB (#6) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Cocinas.com will play against Ourense (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
