No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Bisceglie (6-10) beat at home 16th ranked Vasto (3-12) 68-63 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bisceglie made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Bisceglie outrebounded Vasto 35-21 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for forward Giovanni Gambarota (193-89) who led his team to a victory with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Bisceglie maintains eleventh place in B with 6-10 record. Loser Vasto dropped to the fourteenth position with 12 games lost. Bisceglie will face higher ranked Falconara (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vasto will play against Monteroni (#9) and hope to win that game.
